Every pick upload runs it. Every item is scored on walking saved per day: how often it is picked, how far it sits from the dock, and how much nearer a bay with room is. Where no slot is free it proposes a swap with a colder item.
A move that comes back run after run gains confidence. A move the picks no longer support drops out. Capacity is trusted only where you have given it a locations list; otherwise it is estimated and says so.
Turn the schedule on and the queue refreshes in the window you choose, so the floor starts each morning with a current list instead of last quarter’s study.

Each row carries its own picks per day, distances and savings. A swap charges the cold item’s added walking against the move. Confidence grows with every run that proposes it again.

Start with the two E-14 items: one into A-02, one into A-04, same trip from the back of aisle E. Nine of the fifteen are swaps: the cold item comes out to the vacated slot on the same cart. Aisle B takes two so no single aisle is jammed while the floor works.

The planner turns a queue into a shift.
Press What to do next and the model reads the queue, the capacity, what is already in flight and how fresh the picks are. It chooses a shift-sized set of moves, puts them in walking order, groups them into trips, and gives each one a reason a floor lead can repeat.
It is not allowed to invent. It may only pick from the bot’s rows, and every number you see is recomputed from those rows, not taken from its prose. You accept the plan, claim the batch, and print the move sheet.

Questions operators ask first
- A pick file: one row per pick or per item, location and day, with an item, a location code and a date. A pick count column is optional. A list of every location in the building is optional too; with it the bot knows which bays have empty slots.
